Beers G-I

Goose Island 312 Urban Wheat

4.2 abv / 24 x 35.5cl

Densely populated with flavor, 312’s spicy aroma of Cascade hops is followed by a crisp, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body. Named after the area code of downtown Chicargo where goose island is brewed.

Goose Island Honker's Ale

4.3 abv / 24 x 35.5cl

Inspired by visits to English country pubs, Honker's Ale combines a spicy hop aroma with a rich malt middle to create a perfectly balanced ale that is smooth and immensely drinkable.

Goose Island India Pale Ale

5.9 abv / 24 x 35.5cl

Quite simply a hop lover's dream - this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you'll remember.

Gordon's Finest Gold

10.0 abv / 24 x 33cl

Excellent strong blond beer, with a generous, silky note. Served in the thistle shaped glass, this is a style of beer produced especially for the Belgian market. It was originally brewed at the time of the First World War for British servicemen and the Belgians got a taste for it. Its bitter taste is rounded out by a high alcohol content with the help of light malt which fleshes out its smooth taste, like a tasty caress in its finish.

Gordon's Scotch Ale

8.6 abv / 24 x 33cl

The promising bouquet tells no lies. The bitterness brought by its aromatic hops combines with its sweet flavour mixing distinctive roasted malt, bringing an irresistible warmth with so many elements shimmering on the palate. It leaves a full-bodied, sweet finish.

Gouden Carolus Ambrio

8.0 abv / 24 x 33cl

The recipe has its origin in the 14th century while the present version is a little more heavy and contains more hops. The balance between the different malts, the fine hops and typical tastes of spices creates a perfect harmony between the powerful taste of brown beers and the freshness of the blond beers.

Gouden Carolus Classic

8.5 abv / 24 x 33cl

The Emperor’s Beer - top fermented and bottle conditioned - Gouden Carolus has a warm coppery colour and its rich bouquet.

Gouden Carolus Tripel

9.0 abv / 24 x 33cl

Matured at length in cellar and bottle, and is guaranteed to be brewed only from pale malts. It is traditionally top-fermented. Gouden Carolus Triple has a unique colour and a full flavour due to its well-balanced hopping.

Grimbergen Blonde

6.7 abv / 12 x 33cl

An ochre coloured top fermented Abbey Beer. The use of Gatinais barley combined with carefully selected hops creates a perfectly balanced, relatively light tasting beer with a fruity malty taste.

Grimbergen Dubbel

6.5 abv / 12 x 33cl

A dark burgundy, top fermented Abbey Beer. The mixture of different malts and the use of dark candy sugar combine to produce a delicious sweet toffee-taste, with a brandy-like finish. The name Double refers to the fact that it has been fermented twice, once in the barrel and then again in the maturation cellars.

Grimbergen Optimo Bruno

10.0 abv / 24 x 33cl

A dark amber-coloured Abbey Beer with a very full-bodied flavour, Optimo Bruno has a full, sweet flavour which is perfectly balanced by double fermentation. Originally brewed as an Easter beer but now available throughout the year.

Grimbergen Tripel

9.0 abv / 24 x 33cl

An amber coloured Abbey Beer with a crisp bitter-sweet flavour. The characteristically crisp flavour is created by a subtle mix of sweet and bitter hop varieties, together with blond candy sugar. Refermentation in the bottle provides a perfectly rounded taste.

Grottenbier

6.5 abv / 24 x 33cl

A light brown coloured ale, spiced and matured in the caves at Kanne.

The noble St. Bernardus beers have been brewed in the St. Bernardus brewery since 1946, all are top fermented and brewed only with malts, hops and yeast of the very best quality.

Gulden Draak

10.5 abv / 24 x 33cl

Powerful dark ale in a painted bottle, translated as Golden dragon in English, Gulden Draak is more like herbal medicine!

Brewed by van Steenberge from Ertvelde in East Flanders.

Hoegaarden Wit

4.9 abv / 24 x 33cl

The term 'white' is applied because of the pale colour and natural cloudiness. Belgian Wheat beers, unlike the German Weiss beers, are generally spiced with coriander, curacao and orange peel. What started as an unlikely venture in 1965 has become a fantastic success.

Hopfenkönig

5.1 abv / 24 x 33cl

To give its full title, 'Schloss Eggenberg Hopfenkönig', is the pinnacle beer of the Austrian Schloss Eggenberg brewery. It is a lightly golden pils style beer with a mild flavour, fermented and matured for twelve weeks in the historic cellars.
