Timmermans

Timmermans is one of only a handful of traditional
Lambic breweries from the outskirts of Brussels.

Lambic beer has to be the most unusual beer family
in the world: small breweries near Brussels maintaining
a tradition for spontaneously fermenting wheat beers
(no yeast is added), a process whereby micro organisms
of the area enter the brew left in open vessels in dusty galleries overnight.

A lambic blend is given further fermentation by addition
of fruit which after conditioning gives a pronounced
flavour and aroma.

Kriek Lambic

An immense cherry flavour, agreeably sweet and fruity bouquet - a long lingering taste with a powerful nose.

Gueuze Lambic

A traditionally acidic and subtly flavoured gueuze, distinguished by a mixture of aged and new lambic, with the sourness focusing on the tip of the tongue and the back of the mouth.

Lambicus Blanche

An unconventional blanche, traditionally brewed with wheat added to a lambic. Its flavour is slightly tart and fairly rounded with a hint of lemon peel, slightly sweet but excellent as a thirst quencher.

Framboise Lambic

Faithfully reflecting the colour and flavour of ripe raspberries, with no trace of the acidity of lambic. This wonderful flavour reaches its peak with its intensely fresh after-taste.

Pêche Lambic

A mature beer with a powerful fruit aroma - sweet and fruity flavour with just a hint of bitterness from the peach kernel and skin.

Strawberry Lambic

Strawberry flavour without sweetened saturation - a real feeling of freshness. Its taste is consistent and spreads very quickly throughout the mouth to finish on a touch that is fruitier rather than sweetened.
