Goose Island

Goose Island Brewery

Since 1988 Goose Island has consistently brewed Chicago's finest and freshest hand-crafted ales and lagers.

The first Goose Island Brewpub opened its doors in Chicago in 1988, when craft beers in the USA were still in their infancy, just a stone’s throw away from historic Wrigley Field.

Founder John Hall and his brewmaster son, Greg, continue to brew an innovative selection of over 50 craft beers, the best of which are bottled at their Fulton Street brewery.

Goose Island Honker's Ale

Inspired by visits to English country pubs, Honkers Ale combines a spicy hop aroma with a rich malt middle to create a perfectly balanced ale that is smooth and immensely drinkable.

Goose Island India Pale Ale

Quite simply a hop lover's dream - this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you'll remember.

Goose Island 312 Urban Wheat

Now an established and firm favourite in the USA, 312 Urban Wheat has already notched up an impressive array of awards, including gold medals at the Great American Beer Festival. The beer has a spicy aroma of Cascade hops, followed by a crisp, fruity ale flavour and in a smooth, creamy body. It was named 312 Urban Wheat after the area code of downtown Chicago.

additional information

In his travels across Europe, beer-lover John Hall enjoyed a distinctive local brew in each region he visited, convincing him to start a brewpub in his hometown, Chicago.
