We appreciate that sometimes your customers need a little help making their selection when discovering new beers, especially when these new and exciting beers are served in rather unfamiliar glasses. We have a look at why it's important to provide a sense of theatre for your customers...
Flavour is one of the main reasons why many speciality beers have their own distinctive glasses. Take Duvel, for example: the 'tulip' glass has now been associated with the brand for over 100 years and the shape is designed not only to accommodate the large head, but also to accenuate the aroma of the beer, much in the same way that a large red wine glass does.

The shape of a glass also effects the beer's head. Glasses that taper in towards the top push bubbles together causing the larger bubbles to burst; the result is a smooth head. In contrast, glasses that widen towards the top allows for larger bubbles to form; the results is a more frothy head.
All our beers are carefully selected for their character -- both in flavour and heritage. The brewers are skilled craftsmen who care deeply about the quality of the beer they produce and the glassware they've chosen to serve it in is a part of their skill.
To support our brewers in their quest for perfection we can provide glassware for all the beers we import so, next time you're ordering your speciality beers, be sure to ask us about the right glassware.
Did you know that.... Thin glasses actually keep beer cooler than thick ones.
