Beers S-U
Saison Silly
5.0 abv / 24 x 25cl
Saison beers are Wallonian. They originate from the days when they were unable to brew in the summer months as they were unable to control the fermentation as a result a beer in the spring which was packed with hops and fully attenuated.
Silly is the name of the village where the beer is made. It is a quenching intentionally slightly sour beer with a soft palate. Well hopped.
Samichlaus
14.0 abv / 24 x 33cl
One of the rarest beers in the world, it is brewed on only one day of the year - December 6th (St. Nicolas day) and fermented and matured for ten months before bottling. The vintage beer results with a whacking strength of 14% abv!
Scaldis Ambre (Bush)
12.0 abv / 24 x 25cl
A distinctive extra strong brew matured for three months and with a nutty taste and distinct hop flavour. Made at Pipaix by Dubuisson, who can trace their brewing back to 1769, this is one of Belgium’s strongest beers.
Schlenkerla Smokebeer

This classic, magnificent-tasting beer has a distinct aroma through its palate to a clean, dry finish – a wonderful flavour which may come as a bit of a shock at first!
Schneider Weisse Aventinus

Dark-ruby, almost black-colored, Aventinus has a compact and persistent head. Very intense with a complex spicy chocolate-like aroma, on the palate you experience a complex soft touch, fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes in a rich soft and lightly bitter impression.
Schneider Weisse Blondes (Weizenhell)

Schneider Blondes (renamed from Weizenhell) has a light honey-colouring and a clove-like aroma. On the tongue it is clean and smoothly balanced, and finishes sparkling with a light and fine bitterness.
Schneider Weisse Grünes
6.2 abv / 20 x 50cl
Schneider Grünes (renamed from Edel-weisse) is a shiny-brass coloured organic wheat beer, certified Naturland organic in Germany. It has an aroma of hops and citrus with a spicy note that perfectly balances the malty character with the easiness of the hops. Refreshing and full-bodied it's a favorite at James Clay.
Schneider Weisse Hopfenweisse
8.2 abv / 20 x 50cl
A new wheat beer stlye described by the brewery as 'hoppy firewords'. Golden but slightly reddish in colour it's a strong wheat doppelbock. The intense floral aroma reminds you of tropical fruits and relieves the powerful bitterness. An extreme wheat beer that shows how far wheat beer taste can go.
Schneider Weisse Original
5.4 abv / 12 x 50cl
A rich and full bodied wheat beer, with an amber-mahogany coloring and streaked with fine top-fermenting yeast, this beer has a fine, persistent head that adheres well to the glass. A uniquely satisfying experience, very full flavoured and spicy.
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale

A deep amber colour and an exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. Generous quantities of premium Cascade hops give the Pale Ale its fragrant bouquet and spicy flavour.
St Bernadus - Abt 12
10.0 abv / 24 x 33cl
A revered brew - immensely full bodied rich and creamy. A dark ivory coloured beer with a high fermentation, with a soft and unconditionally genuine aroma, the beer can be smoothly tasted.
The Abt has a very fruity flavour.
St Bernadus - Pater 6
6.7 abv / 24 x 33cl
This 'Paterke' is a chestnut coloured dark beer with a high fermentation and a full taste. Characteristically malty beer, with notes of fresh banana.
St Bernadus - Prior 8
8.0 abv / 24 x 33cl
Fruity and a little more acidic than Pater 6, with a warming finish.
A delicious beer has a ruby purple colour with a full malty and fruity taste, a perfect balance between sweet and sour.
St Bernadus - Tripel

A superb blonde abbey style triple beer with a delicate hop finish. A pale amber colour with a flowery, fruity taste the beer has a thick and vivid froth and strikes by its balanced taste with a delicate bitterness.
St Feuillien Blonde

Aromatic and fresh with a peachy fruity aroma. Bronze in colour and distinctly hoppy and dry.
St Feuillien Brune

An attractive deep reddish brown colour with a tasty bitter chocolate palate – a perfect digestif.
St Sebastiaan Grand Cru (Crock Bottle)

Timmermans Framboise Lambic
4.0 abv / 12 x 33cl / 24 x 33cl
Faithfully reflecting the colour and flavour of ripe raspberries, with no trace of the acidity of lambic. This wonderful flavour reaches its peak with its intensely fresh after-taste.
Timmermans Gueuze Lambic
5.5 abv / 24 x 33cl
A traditionally acidic and subtly flavoured gueuze, distinguished by a mixture of aged and new lambic, with the sourness focusing on the tip of the tongue and the back of the mouth.
Timmermans Kriek Lambic

An immense cherry flavour, agreeably sweet and fruity bouquet - a long lingering taste with a powerful nose.
Timmermans Lambicus Blanche

An unconventional blanche, traditionally brewed with wheat added to a lambic. Its flavour is slightly tart and fairly rounded with a hint of lemon peel, slightly sweet but excellent as a thirst quencher.
Timmermans Pêche Lambic

A mature beer with a powerful fruit aroma - sweet and fruity flavour with just a hint of bitterness from the peach kernel and skin.
Trois Monts
8.5 abv / 12 x 75cl
From hop growing country, made with pale malts giving a nice golden colour. Fruity and malty with a spicy hop finish. Trois Monts refer to three hills close by - more like bumps! Nevertheless a great beer in a corked champagne bottle.
Urbock 23

Urbock 23 is a dark golden, complex beer matured for months in the cellars of the brewery's castle.
Urthel - Hop It
