Belgium's biggest selling ale, the beer has an aromatically toasty maltiness balanced by Goldings hop character. The brewery dominates the village of steenhuffel and has operated there since at least 1747 and is still family run.

Pietra is surprisingly good. A hand crafted lager style brew with ground chestnuts and no artificial ingredients. Chestnuts are the signature fruit of Corsica and are hand picked before being carried by donkey to the local village. Refreshing and an ideal complement to strong cheese.
